Naghmeh jan, again you keep filtering just what is true and needed. When I went back to Iran in 1983-1985, I was fresh meat - so everyone sat around with their eyes on me while they told all the jokes. Even though everyone knew them by heart, they fell on the floor laughing. I didn’t get them at all. Not until the next iterations with other newbies. By then I too would gasp from laughter. There was one night when we got stuck at someone’s house because it was too late to go home safely and we stayed up and Baba had enough jokes to fill the whole night.
